  • 1. WILL MY SURVEY BE VALUE FOR MONEY

Without question, the most important document with a property purchase is the detailed survey undertaken on the property you are intending to buy by a qualified experienced surveyor. Here at MAP, we have vast experience of this type of work and our surveys represent excellent value for money. We set our prices at a level which is both keen for the customer, and allows us to prepare a thorough and professional report in all cases.

 

  • 2. HOW QUICKLY WILL I GET MY REPORT

If you are in a particular hurry, please enquire about or "Premium Express Service", which subject to conditions allows you to obtain your survey report the day after instructing. In general terms however we aim to ensure that our Homebuyer and Building Survey Reports will be electronically sent to you within 3-4 working days following the date of inspection, and given that we use the most up to date electronic distribution methods, the report can be with you as soon as it leaves us.

 

  • 3. NOT ALL SURVEYORS ARE THE SAME

At MAP we specialise in Residential Surveys and Valuations. We have been doing that since 1983. Some Surveyors "Do a bit of everything". Without specialising it is hard to fine tune and become experts in the field. At MAP we strive for constant excellence in exactly this type of work.

 

  • 4. WHO WILL BE THERE WHEN I NEED TO CONTACT YOU ?

As part of the Cobalt Group with a staff of around 300, we have a full administration team to deal with your query. Unlike dealing with an individual surveyor working on his own, or from home, with MAP there will never be "no-one available" due to sickness, holidays or just being out on site when you need an answer.

 

  • 5. CAN YOU GUARANTEE QUALITY?

Yes, but don't just take our word for it. We are quality assured to British Standard ISO9001-2008 and to make sure we keep our standards high, we are regularly audited by independent outside companies.

 

  • 6. ARE YOU SURVEYORS FULLY EXPERIENCED?

All our surveys are undertaken by Chartered Surveyors with a minimum of 10 years experience in Residential Survey and Valuation work. This is not always the case with others. Your surveyor will have local expertise in the area in which he works, often in fact living in the area as well.

 

  • 7. WILL IT ALL RUN SMOOTHLY?

We centrally administer all instructions from our Head Quarters Control Centre, a 6,000 sq feet building in Sidcup from which we use a mixture of modern electronic and traditional post and paper and telephone contact methods to best suit each of our clients needs and make sure everything runs like clockwork.
